How can we coach lawyers from good to great in a rapidly changing legal market?
Lawyers have been described as insecure overachievers[1]. They can be sceptical, impatient, uncomfortable with emotions, find it difficult to bounce back from criticism and often lack resilience[2]. Many live in fear of failure. Several suffer from impostor syndrome.
Before we call in the people in white coats, it’s not all bad news! These same lawyers are some of the greatest minds on the planet. The booming U.K. legal services market is expected to grow to £50bn in 2024[3].
But the legal market is evolving rapidly. New technologies like AI require urgent attention, firms are facing unprecedented cost-cutting pressures and increased competition. And let’s not forget that Generation Z is pushing back, perceived as wanting more for less.
How can lawyers meet these challenges head-on and increase performance? How can we go from good to great?
Come and join us for this lively and informative presentation. Our guest speaker Gavin Sharpe has spent the past 30 years surrounded by lawyers. He brings his unique perspective as a former lawyer, ex-CEO and co-founder of the legal recruitment company SSQ as well as a therapist and performance coach.
